Possible RfA
Hello. People are very impressed. I see great AfD figures. High numbers and right calls. Admin is much ado about deleting pages and making good calls there. A cursory look at your talk archives show a friendly manner. I haven't looked into much more. If a couple of strong nominators would back you, would you consider running? Let me know if you are serious about this, and we can go further. Very best wishes. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:36, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind words, Anna. I'll have a think about it and let you know :) — sparklism hey! 21:15, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
Have you thought about it enough yet? Seriously, I see a 93.1% success rate on well over 500 AfDs, which I would class as excellent. I agree that deletion is kind of the bread and butter, meat and potatoes of being an admin, and that with a side order of page protections is really what it's about, we have enough people hanging out on ANI as it is. I think Anna would be a good nominator and if you can poke Kudpung out of his slumber he's a good one to have too as he won't put you forward without a thorough check and AFAIK he's never nominated anyone who hasn't passed by a country mile. - Thanks for your kind words, Ritchie. Look, I wouldn't rule out a stab RfA at some point in the future, but right now I'm far too busy IRL to put myself through the legendary hell-week. Besides, I'm happy to focus on content at the moment, as this is where I think I can add the most value to the project. I hope this doesn't disappoint anybody - see you over at GAR! :) — sparklism hey! 11:38, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
