Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:47, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption

[edit]

Hi,

Thanks for your display of interest in the adoption program on my talk page, I would be all to happy to adopt you. Each adopter has his own way of teaching his adoptees everything they would like to know, or need to know to be able to edit wikipedia with ease. My way of mentoring is two fold, A) If you have any questions please ask them and I will do my best to answer them. B) I have some pre-defined lessons which although are optional, are highly recommended.

In-case you didnt read my User page, My name is Brett and I'm a 17 yr old South Australian bloke (male) who has been editing Wikipedia for over 6 months now. My main areas of involvement are in the maintainence tasks of wikipedia, such as Abuse Reports, Mediation, Anti-Vandalism and Communication Projects. When im not editing Wikipedia im usually either at School (yr 11), playing games or running my servers. Im also an audiophile (No not pedophile, audiophile means I love music nad listen to it on High End equipment) .

But enough of all that stuff, Would you mind telling me a little about yourself as I find that finding common ground helps when relating to new users. Some examples are What country are you in? male/female and what age group? What are your hobbies? Why do you edit wikipedia etc?.

Cheers   «l| Ψrom3th3ăn ™|l»  (talk) 07:23, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Given this AfD, you should be sure to address the concerns in that discussion, viz the lack of notability of the channel itself. I'd suggest you do that before moving to mainspace. seresin ( ¡? ) 00:56, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spaceflight portals

[edit]

Hello! As an member editor of one or more of the Spaceflight, Human spaceflight, Unmanned spaceflight, Timeline of spaceflight or Space colonisation WikiProjects, I'd like to draw to your attention a proposal I have made with regards to the future of the spaceflight-related portals, which can be found at Portal talk:Spaceflight#Portal merge. I'd very much appreciate any suggestions or feedback you'd be able to offer! Many thanks,

WikiProject Space Colonization activity

[edit]

Hello there! As part of an experiment to determine how many active editors are present in the spaceflight-related WikiProjects, some changes have been made to the list of members of WikiProject Space Colonization. If you still consider yourself to be an active editor in this project, we would be grateful if you would please edit the list so that your name is not struck out - thus a clearer idea of the critical mass of editors can be determined. Many thanks in advance.

WikiProject Spaceflight reboot

[edit]

Hello there! As you may or may not be aware, a recent discussion on the future of the Space-related WikiProjects has concluded, leading to the abolition of WP:SPACE and leading to a major reorganisation of WP:SPACEFLIGHT. It would be much appreciated if you would like to participate in the various ongoing discussions at the reorganisation page and the WikiProject Spaceflight talk page. If you are a member of one of WP:SPACEFLIGHT's child projects but not WP:SPACEFLIGHT itself, it would also be very useful if you could please add your name to the member list here. Many thanks!
