I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}

Help me
[edit]Can you please add the template on my main user page that says I am a retired user? I am leaving Wikipedia. I might return in a few years.--Souvalou (talk) 00:59, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- I have done so. Just fyi, the template is
{{retired}}
-- it's not necessary to have admin privileges to use the template. It's a shame you're leaving, but I hope you return! — GorillaWarfare talk 01:03, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:19, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Can somebody tell me how to post pictures?
[edit]{{adminhelp}}
I need to post a picture on the article "Woolworth Building" but I don't know how. Could somebody help me with this--Souvalou (talk) 01:05, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- If you want to upload an image from your computer for use in an article, you must determine the proper license of the image (or whether it is in the public domain). If you know the image is public domain or copyrighted but under a suitable free-license, upload it to the Wikimedia Commons instead of here, so that all projects have access to the image (sign up). If you are unsure of the licensing status, see the file upload wizard for more information. Please also read Wikipedia's image use policy.
- If you want to add an image that has already been uploaded to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons, add
[[File:File name.jpg|thumb|Caption text.]]
to the area of the article where you want the image to appear – replacingFile name.jpg
with the actual file name of the image, andCaption text
with a short description of the image. See our picture tutorial for more information. I hope this helps.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:10, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- By the way, for future reference the adminhelp template is for questions that require administrator intervention. For questions such as yours, please use {{helpme}}.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:11, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
The article University Tower has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. causa sui (talk) 22:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi, you redirected '!@' to At sign in 2010. Would you mind explaining this at Talk:At_sign#!@. Thanks, John Vandenberg (chat) 04:16, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
!@ listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect !@. Since you had some involvement with the !@ redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. — This, that and the other (talk) 01:52, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
