I am amazed and impressed by the amount of work you have done on the entry for Isle of the Dead (Tasmania) Richard Bruce Bradford (talk) 01:27, 16 May 2020 (UTC) |
- Thank you so much for your encouragement Richard!! Really enjoyed researching this little island so thanks to you again for setting it up as a stub! --Southpaw20 (talk) 11:43, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Are you keeping a manual list User:Dave Rave/sandbox9 numerically ? trying to see why it's this way, seems vague, but is there a benefit to it ? Dave Rave (talk) 01:51, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for your editing help!! This is my first attempt at a wiki article and I just followed the referencing guidelines I was taught at uni so wasn't keeping a manual list but I would appreciate any help. Let me know how I can improve my referencing :) --Southpaw20 (talk) 05:27, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- talk, sandbox/talk, my talk, also email - I tabled your main refs, so far. I was going to ref=harv which can be much easier, but also, if I edit something and you don't copy that to your working doc then your next edit will overwrite my edit ... Dave Rave (talk) 06:20, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- Harvard referencing sounds good! Thanks for working on the referencing and for the overwrite tip. I've finished adding the content and images and I'll get back to watching wiki tutorials to get up to speed. --Southpaw20 (talk) 11:31, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Isle of the Dead (Tasmania)
[edit]On 2 July 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Isle of the Dead (Tasmania), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a tiny Tasmanian island called the Isle of the Dead (pictured) is home to one of the few preserved convict-period burial grounds? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Isle of the Dead (Tasmania). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Isle of the Dead (Tasmania)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- Did you notice the day prior to the DYK there was around 500 page views and now there is over 25, 000! How cool is that? I note you are still working on the article despite the completion of the course, good on you!--Carrolquadrio (talk) 01:49, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
