Information icon Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. – Gilliam (talk) 02:48, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Greenville, Indiana, you may be blocked from editing. No, you cannot simply add anyone you like: people without Wikipedia articles typically don't get to be listed. Moreover, you added mostly primary sources, which isn't helpful. But the real disruption is in the explained restoration of material removed by seasoned editors. Drmies (talk) 14:29, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your post at Teahouse. The problem isn't so much your edits, but your editing. If someone removes an edit you make, do not put it back, no matter how much you think you are right. Instead, if you are unclear as to why it was removed, ask at the editor's talk page. If you disagree with the reason, start a discussion at the article's talk page and try to win a consensus for your change. Content is decided by consensus, so if you do not succeed in establishing a consensus, your content stays out. See WP:BRD. Regarding the specifics of your edits, only one of the people you tried to add has established notability, and of the other three, I can say straight out that they are most likely not notable. The baseball player named Roscoe has a Wikipedia article. If you re-add him, there will be no objections, as long as you WIKILINK his name. The minor league baseball player will likely not be notable, as notability requires either you show the person meets the general notability guideline (which most minor leaguers do not) or that they meet a WP:SNG, which in this case is WP:NBASEBALL, which requires that the player has played in the majors. The proprietor of a cheese manufacturer is not going to be notable (again unless they meet GNG) as you do not INHERIT notability from being associated with a notable organization. That leaves Ford. He may or may not be notable, but that remains to be seen, and the only way to show that would be to successfully get an article on him into the encyclopedia.
