We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

I wanted to let you know that I've proposed an article that you started, 2020 Minnesota State Boys Hockey Tournament, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criteria and I believe that the article obviously and uncontroversially does not belong in an encyclopedia. - What is needed are reliable, verifiable, independent sources, not more from their own website or the website of organisations to which they are affiliated.

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing.
