Fair use rationale for Image:Hfmlogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hfmlogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 11:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Radio Lutterworth has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:00, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's a radio station that's not in continuous operation, and you've supplied no reliable independent sources to show that it's notable. Further, the article is written as a promotional piece or advertisement, with language like "it was a fantastic achievement. It was also a huge success and justifiably the team were very pleased with this success". See WP:SPAM. NawlinWiki (talk) 19:50, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File:Radlut-logo.jpg listed for deletion

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Radlut-logo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Cloudbound (talk) 19:13, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Radio Lutterworth has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article asserts no notability: first line of the lead says: "Radio Lutterworth aspires to become a full time community radio station......" The radio station is basically just an online radio station with no notability. They have not been able to successfully get a radio device. The radio station does not have any connections with any notable people (neither personalities or owners).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 22:04, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Radio Lutterworth for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Radio Lutterworth is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Radio Lutterworth until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. File permission problem with File:Redjet.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Redjet.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 15:27, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
