thanks for fixing that
Elway is not really a dual threat quarterback, or at least not the poster child lol. I think Steve McNair was a better picture than Andrew Luck since he isn't even in the table (and isn't really that much of a dual threat just cuz he has legs). I might add the McNair picture back in lol. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 14:56, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Romantic orientation
Hello! I just wanted to thank you for your contributions to the article of Romantic orientation. It was very useful and I translated the article into Spanish (being also useful the sources you added to back the term). I also saw that you are working on Gray asexuality, so thanks for that as well. I think it's important for all of this to have a place here... but sadly in the spanish Wikipedia there is almost nothing :(. Thanks again, --Lcsrns (Talk) 04:01, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

For your contributions to Romantic orientation (very useful) and Gray asexuality. Lcsrns (Talk) 04:04, 4 May 2015 (UTC) |
- Lcsrns, the scarcity of coverage regarding these two matters -- romantic orientation and gray asexuality -- is because of the scarcity of WP:Reliable sources covering them. See what I stated at Talk:Gray asexuality. And as for romantic orientation...Well, like the Romantic orientation article states, it's usually subsumed under sexual orientation. Furthermore, the identities currently listed there are are usually only used within the asexual community. But, yes, I agree that Soulbust has helped improve the Romantic orientation article. Flyer22 (talk) 04:31, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
- Flyer22, we agree on the fact it is usually subsumed under sexual orientation and that it is generally used by asexuals. I personally didn't know the concept of "Romantic orientation" until two months ago and associated sexual orientation as including it. Nevertheless, this two are different, separated things and that is why I am very happy of translating it to Spanish and letting more people know about it (and can't get to it in other way if they don't know English). Information in Spanish is even less... and regarding coverage, I think this wiki has a lot of coverage of sexuality... and I meant that the Spanish one lacked it. About asexuals, yes, we agree... it's usually used by them (and through AVEN I got to know the concept), but that is not in all cases (and I have seen them being used by sexual people)... specially if we say sexual attraction and romantic can be for different sexes or not aligned. Finally, browsing the history I see that you were also a lot into the article... so thanks to you too. --Lcsrns (Talk) 05:36, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
- Lcsrns, I haven't done much with that article. You can see me questioning the need for its existence in its edit history; by that, I mean that I'm not convinced that it should be a Wikipedia article. This is because "sexual orientation" and "romantic orientation" usually mean the same thing in research; that's what I meant "subsumed" above. Any of its details could adequately be covered in the Sexual orientation article, and the Asexuality article covers the rest. But, anyway, you are here to discuss this matter with Soulbust. I'll step back from this section now. Flyer22 (talk) 05:55, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Using Twitter as a BLP source
Please do not use Twitter as a source for BLP articles. It has been established many times over that Twitter, Facebook, and other social media sites are not reliable sources for biographies of living persons. The subject can claim they were born any year that serves their interests, and this detail should be reported by a reliable third party publication before being added to the encyclopedia. If you have any questions you may contact me on my talk page, the BLP noticeboard, or the respetive talk page of the biography in question. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 17:40, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Scare PewDiePie
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Scare PewDiePie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Eeekster (talk) 00:43, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
