PlayStation EDGE

[edit]

Hi, I do not want to get into an edit war with you on the PlayStation Network article but there has been no official mention of this service from Sony, all of the information is based on a forum post on NeoGaf. The reference you put in was to a news site which referenced this post as their source. NeoGaf is notorious for this sort of thing. If you can find a press release from sony on any kind of reliable site, then please feel free to re-add the information. Please discuss on the PlayStation Network talk page if you like. Cheers. PS. Please also refrain from throwing your toys out the pram when your edits are reverted. If you disagree with something, that's what talk pages are for. Thanks. ok i get the idea

[edit]

at the time when i was editing this site it was believed by many that the info about playsatation edge was , recently it got updated and they said that its fake. however i am deeply concerd at the way that the articles just get deleted without notifications first. i appologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that you notify people before deletion.

Hi. I know it's irritating when you spend time writing an addition to an article and it gets removed, but i did say in the edit summary why I removed it and put a link to a site stating that it was fake. I also put a created a new section on the article's talk page stating why it had been removed. Remember that Wikipedia isn't a news site and brand new information doesn't need to be added as soon at it's released. It's better not to have the information in an article at all than to have innaccurate, uncited information. Cheers, and I hope this doens't discourage you from improving Wikipedia in the future! :) ChimpanzeeUK - User | Talk | Contribs 20:56, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
