Hi, Sophie! Sorry for the delay! First off, let me say that this is an excellent start to your Wikipedia page. Specifically, your citations are really great. You cited directly at the end of each statement that you derived from a source as well as used a broad range of sources. Great work! I think that since your topic is gender stereotypes, you have so much room to work with. You seem to focus on gender stereotypes in the workplace, which is great! Feel free to expand upon that. Provide examples for each of the statements to really drive the message home. Also, feel free to talk about gender stereotypes and how they affect different types of women (i.e. women of color, low-income women, trans women, etc.). That way, this section can be as intersectional as possible. Additionally, I suggest talking about gender stereotypes out of the workplace and political context. Think about some of the stereotypes women face in schooling, sexual interactions, medicine, pregnancy, etc. and maybe even how 'stereotype threat' plays out in each of these situations. Lastly, do not forget to incorporate how these stereotypes relate back to the ERA and the different feminist paradigms we have learned about throughout the semester. Again, great work! Hi Sophie! I made a few grammatical edits and added some comments for suggestions. Your use of multiple sources and specific examples enhanced the article and including additional examples would make it a complete article. Adding to the political section would be beneficial if it expanded on the political support that specific candidates receive and the restrictions that are socially imposed on offices rather than constitutional restrictions. Really well done! — Preceding unsigned comment added by AFDeem (talkcontribs) 03:03, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
