Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Molly Ringwald are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Please do not use talk pages such as Talk:Malware for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. Please stop. If you continue to use talk pages such as Talk:Maria Shriver for inappropriate discussion, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. "Talk pages are for discussing the article, not for general conversation about the article's subject (much less other subjects). Keep discussions focused on how to improve the article. Irrelevant discussions are subject to removal." Wikipedia:TALK#How_to_use_article_talk_pages - SummerPhD (talk) 20:41, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
You keep saying that the real problem is that nobody gets your unusual sense of humor. That's often a problem when 1) we don't know you, 2) we can't tell you're using humor, and 3) many readers may not even be native English speakers. Obviously it's not working for you, and it's not really appropriate anyway if you're seriously trying to be understood. We're really trying to build an encyclopedia here, so if you're trying to help, then please do so in a way that everyone can understand (there's an endless list of things that need work!). If not, then please stop wasting everyone's time, both your own and that of those who are working to improve articles here. DMacks (talk) 04:06, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Manners
Allow me to put this in plain English: what you reverted here was not vandalism, this was just dumb, and this is rude, insensitive, poorly spelled, etc.. That editor hasn't been back since you called her good-faith and positive edits 'vandalism'; taken together, these three edits rank highly in the list of most unproductive edits ever--and I am doing my best to say that nicely.
If you want to do something about this, I'd start by apologizing to that editor, and next time you call something vandalism, look before you leap: you may have never heard of "fun feminism," but that doesn't really mean a whole lot. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 04:14, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
