London Mosque Attack

[edit]

Hi, the reason why I removed the London Mosque Attack was because the sources said it was not being investigated as terrorism, if the sources now say that it was terrorism then it should be re-added, thanks.--[[User:Cleverguy122|Cleverguy122]

Hi! Incidents need to be supplemented if they have a political, religious or ideological motivation. If the suspicion of Islamophobic motivation should be confirmed, the attack would have to be supplemented. Greetings, --Sokrates2987 (talk) 15:36, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Sokrates2987[reply]

October 2018

[edit]

You recent edits in List of terrorist incidents in March 2018 indicate that you are engaged in wdit-warring. Note that if you continue your account will likely be blocked from editing. In any case, your arguments contradict to our policies and are invalid. Per WP:BRD, it is your responsibility to stop edit-warring and to take the issue at the talk page. I will do this for you, but if you continue edit-warring instead of the discussion I will seek administrator intervention. Thank you for understanding.--Ymblanter (talk) 10:08, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ymblanter,

I am very sorry, I did not want an edit war. However, I do not understand why my editing is reverted, although the incident meets the criteria of the list. I would like to know why my entry was undone. Please excuse the inconvenience, --Sokrates2987 (talk) 10:17, 14 October 2018 (UTC)Sokrates2987[reply]

(ec) No, it does not meet the criteria. The list is of terrorist attacks. Your references do not demonstrate it is a terrorist attack. May be there are other references which call the incident a terrorist attack, or at least relate it to terrorism, but until such references have been presented inclusion of the incident to the list will be original research.--Ymblanter (talk) 10:22, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Is not it enough that the police classifies the incident as politically motivated?--Sokrates2987 (talk) 10:24, 14 October 2018 (UTC)Sokrates2987[reply]
No, politically motivated incidents are not synonymous to terrorism.--Ymblanter (talk) 10:28, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But at the top of the list it says: "including incidents of violent non-state actors for political, religious or ideological reasons.--Sokrates2987 (talk) 10:34, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You need to seek for a community consensus to include this. According to the current practice, such incidents are usually not included.--Ymblanter (talk) 10:37, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
All right, then I limit myself to work on the German "List of terrorist incidents". Have a good time!--Sokrates2987 (talk) 10:56, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of terrorist incidents in August 2017, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Herne (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
