Hi! Thanks for your work on Bagratids. I hope to see more like it; I'll be happy to work on this together.

See WP:CSD for more information. The page was deleted because it had no content. The page, when deleted, and when edited by User:Walter Görlitz to mark it as such, consisted of only an image. This is immediately deletable by Wikipedia policy. If you wish to recreate the article and re-upload the image, you are welcome to do so. However, you may wish to:

  • Add some explanatory text to the page when creating the page with the picture
  • Add the {{inuse}} tag to the page to let other editors know that this is just temporary and will be expanded later
I didn't delete it. I just noted that it wasn't linked from anywhere and that it met the requirements for speedy deletion. --Walter Görlitz 16:00, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sofie, your work on Georgian history is greatly appreciated. Just a tip: if you're from Georgia, you can add yourself to Category:Wikipedians in Georgia - Kober

Hi Sofie, I was looking for some reliable info about the Shatberdi Monastery on the net, but could not find much. It seems to me you are an expert in the field of Tao-Klarjeti. Could you write a few sentences about that monastery… Only if you have enough time of course. Thanks. Kober 20:13, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Clouds in the sky.jpg)

[edit]
Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Clouds in the sky.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 10:40, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sofie, I think you have misunderstood because you have created same image with 2 different image pages. Which one you have used on your user page is different for which i have tagged orphan. So enjoy. Please use ~~~~ to sign on discuss pages. Thanks, Shyam (T/C) 21:41, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shatberdi

[edit]

Hi Sofie. Thanks a lot for your info about Shatberdi. You were very helpful, indeed. It would be really great if you converted your message into an article. Or, I can do it myself, if you don’t mind. Best wishes, Kober 09:21, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sofie, it would be really great if you could find time to join us in modifying the article about the Bagratid Dynasties. Kober 18:45, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Sofie, thanks for your remarks on David III's page. Can you also review Bagrationi dynasty? Thanks, Kober 12:04, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Sofie. Where have you disappeared? :) Wikipedia is in desperate need for the experts on Tao-Klarjeti. Also, I just thought this link would be of some interest to you. Regards, --Kober 17:41, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Adarnase of Tao-Klarjeti, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello Sofie. How have you been doing? Can I ask for your input in the Bana entry if you have time? I'm afraid that page is quickly evolving into yet another battlefield of nationalistic Wiki-war. --KoberTalk 19:01, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, all you lovely Caucasian battle-cocks! Please make love, not war - we don't wanna put-in... :-)

Kober, I am back (for a short while). Greetings! (Sofie (talk) 11:07, 7 August 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Hi, This image was seemingly uploaded prior to current image polices, Thank you.

However, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure all media on English Wikipedia is correctly licensed and attributed it would be appreciated if you were able to confirm, that it was your own work, by marking it as {{own}}, amending the {{information}} added by a third party, and by changing the license to an appropriate "self" variant. You can also add |claimed=yes to the {{media by uploader}} tag if it is present to indicate that you've acknowledged the image, and license shown (and updated the {{information}} where appropriate).

This will assist those reviewing the many many "free" images on commons that have not yet been transfered to Commons. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:36, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
