Proposed deletion of 2015–16 North American winter

The article 2015–16 North American winter has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is literally no significant information yet and will not likely be for over a month. This article was deleted for similar months when a new user attempted to create it even earlier when in the summer. All this can amount to for awhile is a stub containing information that many or most people already knew about. We should wait for the official forecasts to come out.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. First of all, how do I use the sandbox? Second, is listing songs that are simply categorized "Rock" and giving them at least a proper subgenre on my sandbox a good idea? Also, the main reason why I've categorized both Tom Petty's "Refugee" and Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" as Heartland Rock instead of "Rock" is because not only do both of the aforementioned songs sound like it upon listening closely to them, but both of the aforementioned musicians were known to be notable Heartland Rock performers. I'm sorry, but just "Rock" isn't gonna cut it for me because it's not specific enough for my strict music genre standards; same thing goes to songs that go simply by "Country", "House", or "EDM". Not to be rude, but it doesn't matter whether it cuts it for you. Any unsourced additions will probably be reverted, which I suspect has already happened to most things you have added to Wikipedia.
