Hi Sarmad
Welcome to WikiPedia! Create your own page now! UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 22:34, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh and create a custom sign like I did! UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 22:34, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Bahria University
I have placed the Bahria University article under Non-Neutral Point of View Dispute as per Wikipedia guide lines stated under WP:NPOV. Please go to this page an share your opinion on the matter. UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 01:30, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
IP vandals
I believe I've blocked the IPs that were vandalizing your userpage. I'd still recommend that you make the sock/checkuser report you mentioned on ANI. Dreadstar † 21:28, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- I've move-protected your userpage as a preventative measure, so that only admins could do so. Actually needing to move a page in User space is extraordinarily rare anyways, so I doubt it'll prove to be a problem in the future. If you disagree, or ever need to move it in the future, you can ask me or any other admin and we can unprotect it trivially. — Coren (talk) 23:26, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

CheckUser
No, you don't need to notify any admins. I've listed the case, and a checkuser should be by shortly to look at the case. Keilanatalk(recall) 21:25, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK! Thanx!Sarmad (talk) 21:45, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm way too involved in the case to make a fair judgment. Another clerk will deal with the request. Keilanatalk(recall) 00:09, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- I recommend you post at the Incidents noticeboard. Keilanatalk(recall) 22:13, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- You may want to post at the checkuser clerk noticeboard. It should get more attention from knowledgeable people there. Regards, Keilanatalk(recall) 00:50, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Welcome messages
Hi Smarmad. I noticed the welcome message you placed on DDDSHORTY's userpage, being a manual copy of the one you received on this page. Welcoming new users is a good activity but I wanted to explain how those messages should be left, because the manner you placed it doesn't work well, despite your good intentions. These welcome messages are placed through templates. You can explore the many welcome templates atWikipedia:Welcoming committee/Welcome templates/Table. The one left on your page, which you copied over to DDDSHORTY's, is {{W-basic}}. The way to place these is to write on the target user's page {{subst:name of template}} ~~~~ (or no tildes for templates that include automatic signing). The reason the one you placed was a problem is that, besides the fact that it didn't format correctly, having no links whatever and producing a text box, it also placed the {{helpme}} template on the user's page, rather than a link to the template, and thus placed the user in a category I and other Wikipedian's monitor. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:19, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, for that improper use of welcome template, as i was doing it first time so did it wrong. I will be careful in future. Thanks! for making me correct!
Sarmad (talk) 15:26, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Nothing to be sorry about since nothing you did had bad intent:-)--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:29, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Hello
Hi, how are you doing? First of all welcome back to Wikipedia. I am sure we can put the past behind work forward to constructive editing. After all we are only here to make Wikipedia a better place. I am sure, you would look into my request, and if you still want it, we can have a separate dispute resolution process to sort things out. What do you say? How to delete your own subpages
I added a {{db-author}}-tag to the two subpages of yours you have prodded, so it won't take five days to get rid of them. Just tell me if I misunderstood something. Greswik (talk) 16:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC) ( I guess the right template to show you should have been {{db-userreq}} btw, if you want to delete more subpages one day. ) Greswik (talk) 17:00, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the welcome. I had no idea how to respond to your message at first! Luckily, someone from wikiHow told me how to reply. Thanks again! —Preceding unsigned comment added by LuckyBear (talk • contribs) 21:55, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. You may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to Bahria University, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The edits you made are not complaint with the university and Pakistan manual of style. Since it is not required, therefore considered CRUFTY. UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 14:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
I've removed the speedy delete tag from this article, as, in my oppinon it satifys WP:MUSIC, if you do not think so, please place a prod or afd notice on the page RT | Talk 12:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

I would like to hear your rationale for wanting to delete him. Enough material is there for a stub. Why not encourage me to write a few lines for a stub rather than outright delete it. I know in order to climb the admin ladder you have to destroy others work (Its the only way people will listen to you and therefore nominate you for adminship) but please use a little common sense - you will have to delete thousands of smaller articles before this is out. Cop on. Think before you type. Iloveamerica2much (talk) 13:37, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Afghanistan
Stop vandalism on Afghanistan article. You completely removed information from Encyclopedia Britannica along with its link. The Iranica link is dead so I removed it.--Inferior-Parsibaan (talk) 13:34, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 23:47, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
re: January 2008
Yes, but also according to Iranica there are 33.7 % which is rounded off to 34%. Farsiwan22 (talk) 02:14, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing it out. I will in a few minutes. Farsiwan22 (talk) 02:18, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- My pleasure! Thank you too! Farsiwan22 (talk) 07:00, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
About Bahria University
How may I ask is PN War college considered a campus of Bahria University? It is just a college and not a full campus. Islamabad and Karachi are the only ones. UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 20:09, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Bahria University. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 20:13, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User:UzEE has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thank you. UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 20:14, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bahria University. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You may be blocked from editing for upto 24 hours if you continue. UzEE (Talk • Contribs) 20:36, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
You warned me about edit warring; I'm only reverting a persistent vandal's edits. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 19:30, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- I did report it at WP:AIV. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 19:55, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
