Brochure as citation

[edit]

If the gallery could upload the brochures in question to the internet for verification purposes, they could work. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources for more detailed information or leave a message with one of administrators on the talk page if they are around. If this does not help, just let me know. The gallery responded that they cannot upload the brochure. What other options are there? I do have a hard copy of the brochure and I have scanned it so I have it in electronic form. This is the only source of info that I have, so there are not other choices. Here is the gallery response:

Hi Carin Unfortunately we only go back to recent years of exhibitions on the website. Sorry, I can’t think of anywhere else for this to go. Sonja Sonja Kielty, BA (Hons), AMA, MBA Cert Curator (Exhibitions) Cartwright Hall Art Gallery Tel 01274436027

An article you recently created, W. A. Stewart: Artist / Craftsman Will Stewart, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. Facebook is not a reliable source. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Also, it appears you might have a conflict of interest in writing this article. Please WP:COI. Onel5969 TT me 20:39, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've fixed most of the problems above, added a few references, a few categories, a few wikilinks and moved it back to article space. (I still should tweak the references to make sure it's understood that you're not using Facebook as a reference but using Facebook to store the documents with the authorization of the galleries) Note that I've changed the title of the page to meet our guidelines so it is now at W.A. Stewart. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 22:29, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
