Power supply
[edit]Good job with the Power supply merge. I find merges to be a somewhat daunting task... thanks for taking care of it. ~ Booyabazooka 06:24, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem, you're welcome. --smileyborg 14:07, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Like the way you phrased how a laptop's power supply works, but you accidentally lost a chunk of the article in the process.(partial HTTP POST?) I restored the missing text with the change to the paragraph aforementioned in place. Check to make sure other things you intended to change weren't lost in the partial edit submission you made, as I could only tell that you tried to change one small section. -- Kevin Breitenstein 04:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I posted the edit and did a double take - the rest was gone! You beat me to the revert (I did my own just seconds later), but that was the only change I had made. Nothing else was lost. Thanks for keeping an eye out! --smileyborg 05:01, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Majorlodgevictorycover.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Majorlodgevictorycover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:52, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Majorlodgevictorycover.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Majorlodgevictorycover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
RidePal Article
[edit]Great job on categorizing and following the RidePal team!
As a followup to your RidePal page, the RidePal name and brand were purchased by the bus operator Bauers. They continue to operate the company with Bauers buses as all other operators have left the platform. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.233.123.210 (talk) 20:45, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
ArbCom 2017 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Smileyborg. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
