Student Project

[edit]

We're a group of college students working on developing this page as part of the Women in Red initiative. Smassis (talk) 18:20, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

- We are planning on expanding the education and intro. We rather use ours instead of the previously written Wiki page
- We plan to add photos Smassis (talk) 17:14, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction: We propose inserting the following two sentences as the second and third sentences of the introduction section: " Lee was the first woman to log one and a half hours of flight time in the F-15 eagle. She has been “recognized as a trailblazer in aerospace engineering and aviation”.

Education: We want to retain the essential facts currently in the education section, but we would like to retitle it "Early Life/ Education". Additionally, we propose adding the following expanded information with sources: "Nelda Lee was born and raised in Carrollton, Alabama. Lee attended Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, and graduated the class of 1969. She received her bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, following in the direction of her father’s legacy. Lee was the second woman to graduate with an aerospace engineering degree at Auburn University. Lee also received a masters degree in 1999 from Webster University in Management and Human Resources Development." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smassis (talkcontribs) 17:37, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
