Thalidomide

[edit]

Hi,

Based on my knowledge of thalidomide and the extant body, I think the lead is accurate in summarizing the effects of thalidomide as 'catastrophic'. Note that the lead must summarize the body, and should never be {{fact}} tagged on a page of thalidomide's length. If the lead summarizes the body inaccurately it should be adjusted, but citations and tags for citations should appear in the body.

Hello,
I had clumsily intended to suggest that the first part of the sentence - "Before its release, inadequate tests were performed to assess the drug's safety..." - required a reference but given your comments I see that even with this clarification my contribution is misplaced. Thanks for the feedback. Smallestdruid (talk) 18:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
