Hi there. Thanks for your work at the Philipp Bargfrede article. Two things: 1. Transfermarkt is not considered a reliable by the English Wikipedia, 2. Your additions are lacking references. I've removed the Transfermarkt link. Would you be able to add sources for the content you added? Happy editing, Robby.is.on (talk) 20:31, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
Transfermarkt
Since most of its content is user-generated, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:16, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Musharna (Pokemon)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Musharna (Pokemon) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. SamHolt6 (talk) 02:56, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
Hello, SmackJam. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Musharna (Pokemon), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Edit summaries
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Sebastian Heidinger does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Thanks for creating Jordan Farquharson! I edit here too, under the username Balon Greyjoy and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-
As far as I can tell, Mr. Farquharson has not met sufficient notability per WP:NSOCCER. According to the sources, he has not appeared in a game for the Western Warriors SC (which would give him sufficient notability for playing for a team in a top level league), and his appearance against Belize does not qualify as a competitive senior international match at confederation level.

Jose Elcius moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Jose Elcius, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. New soccer player articles
Hi. Great to see someone else making new articles for soccer players in the US, especially as USL level. Is it possible to flesh out the articles before posting? All seem to be missing a number of categories, no mention of college, academy or PDL/NPSL careers, nor their PDL/NPSL stats in the career section. Each one posted immediately then needs improving. If you could do that at point of submitting, would be optimal and save time later. Thanks! UncleTupelo1 (talk) 22:25, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
Of course. Out of curiosity, which sources do you use to find PDL/NPSL stats for most of these players? I've only found isolated instances on the USL League Two website. Thanks for the suggestions. SmackJam 22:41, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, it can be tricky, but much easier for new players who've come out of college in the last 4 years. USL League Two site has all stats from 2015 onward, so you do often have to go through each year directly and find them by alphabetical order, or try Googling the player name + USL League Two and something normally comes up at the top. NPSL is trickier, but again, Google name + NPSL and you'll get your hits. Stats are harder to find (you have to open each game report from that season and search for their name. I'd understand if you didn't fancy doing that though. NPSL players are rarer than USL League Two though. UncleTupelo1 (talk) 22:47, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
- I just finished up work on Azaad Liadi and attempted to take as many of your pointers in mind as possible. I wasn't sure where to find game-by-game NPSL statistics. Mind letting me know if I'm on the right track? Thanks in advance. SmackJam 23:21, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
- Saw that, and yes looks good to me! For USL League Two I've found searching player name + USL League Two + year (best to try each year they attended college) will give the individual link with relevant stats. For NPSL stats I search "Player name + NPSL" to verify the club, then search "NPSL team name + year + bonzidev stats" which brings up all the game reports for that year. Then you can CTRL+F5 search the player name on each of the fixtures. Worth noting you need to check how many regular league games are in that team's season and not count the NPSL play-off games. So if the team had 10 regular season games, just open the first 10 match reports and ignore the rest.
Also, worth adding the state they're from in the categories too, such as Soccer players from California. But the Azaad Liadi article looked much better and more detailed. Nice one! UncleTupelo1 (talk) 00:26, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
