An exciting opportunity to get involved!
[edit]As a member of the Aviation WikiProject or one of its subprojects, you may be interested in testing your skills in the Aviation Contest! I created this contest, not to pit editor against editor, but to promote article improvement and project participation and camraderie. Hopefully you will agree with its usefulness. Sign up here, read up on the rules here, and discuss the contest here. The first round of the contest may not start until September 1st-unless a large number of editors signup and are ready to compete immediately! Since this contest is just beginning, please give feedback here, or let me know what you think on my talkpage. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 05:20, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I award you the wikiwings in recognition of your knowledgeable contribution to aviation articles.
- I have tried to be patient in correcting your edits, but you do have to learn by watching the revisions come forth: Please change the following:
- br or /br> is not used for paragraph breaks, simply start a new paragraph with your keyboard return.
- All names that are not identified as full names can be written as "FG Miles" but the usual standard is to use periods to separate the names, as in "F. G. Miles", although there is still a bit of leeway here as there is some differences in what standards are in play, from country to country.
- "Imbedded references" are not used in creating citations. You also do not leave a reference as a "bare url" as the accompanying author, title, publisher, date and retrieval date isn't present.
Please contact me if you require some assistance, as I am an author and editor by trade, and a former reference librarian, to boot. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 13:00, 26 April 2012 (UTC),
- Much better, thanks, you're catching on! FWiW Bzuk (talk) 01:48, 27 April 2012 (UTC).

I'm disappointed to see that the article for A W Hawksley Ltd seems to have sunk- it seems to me to be thoroughly wikipedia-worthy, and I'd be happy to try to assist with generating refs etc. to justify that statement. Do you have a copy of your draft?Yadsalohcin (talk) 11:56, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
