Welcome!
Hello, Slindley61, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Spectra SDR, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.
There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. The article Spectra SDR has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable software. All citations provided are company-published press releases or advertorials.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:05, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Request reason:
Further to my IP address being blocked I would like to take this opportunity to appeal said block. It appears that my edits thus far have violated the reasonable terms regarding the editing of articles set out by Wikipedia. Indeed, as a committed user and appreciator of Wikipedia, this is first my time actually performing edits to the site. My intention was to provide the PrismTech article, which has been languishing in an unreferenced and poorly structured state for a number of years, with some modest updates. By analyzing structures of those articles similar to PrismTech I believed that I was taking the requisite due care so as to ensure that my edits were deemed legitimate. Clearly, I should have taken a greater amount of care. I am a staunch proponent of the value of Wikipedia’s articles, particularly if they are properly referenced; and more than ever before, it is apparent to me now the seriousness with which Wikipedia takes the referencing of its articles. Should my ban be rescinded, I will wholeheartedly endeavour to improve the nature of any future amendments, so as to meet the high standards Wikipedia expects. Thank you for your time.

- I don't see a block on your account right now ... in addition, you're request unblock to change usernames. Can you elaborate? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:26, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi - I am being told that it's my IP that's been blocked?
- Could you give us the full message, please? We can't check if there is a block on the IP if we don't know it. I'm also puzzled about the changing names thing. Peridon (talk) 10:54, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Forgive me, I think that I've gone down the wrong avenue with this.
- First, don't forget to sign any talkpage posts using ~~~~. Second, if you're getting a message saying your IP is blocked, it gives you very clear direction on how to request unblock - we cannot simply guess your IP address :-) (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:46, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Quite. Apologies. Slindley
