Hi SlimShadyLadyKierra...

I noticed your user page and the link to an article you created about yourself. I had to tag it to be deleted as a test page. You can put information about yourself on your userpage (where you put the link), but you can't create an article about yourself. I'm thinking that perhaps you did that by mistake.

In any case, articles that are created on Wikipedia must be about notable people or events or things. That is, they have to have been written about in the newspaper or magazines or reported on on tv. It's kind of saying that things have to be shown to be important before there can be articles about them.

I'm not saying you're not important! But it's best to edit articles about other things for now and not about yourself. Read this page about getting started. Let me know if you have any questions!

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --SlimShadyLadyKierra (talk) 21:36, 7 March 2012 (UTC) I understand. You can go ahead and delete it![reply]

My apologies to SlimShadyLadyKierra. I really must not have been looking at things clearly. I'd have sworn that the editor created a page in article space with the title: "user:slimshadyladykierra". Sorry about that! Wikipelli Talk 03:25, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No worries on my part, Wikipelli, though I'm glad to know you haven't lost your mind. (To let you in on a secret, I've done the same thing, and the other way around as well.) Drmies (talk) 16:19, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
