Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit]Dear Slegrenst: welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:
Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.
One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!
A tag has been placed on Slarr, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 14:28, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, Slegrenst!
- I checked the deletion log for what was up, and it says "non-notable video game". You might want to check out WP:CVG to find out what the Video Game Project considers notable. In general, it helps if you can find reliable sources that reference the game - for instance, a New York Times story about how addictive the game is, or something along those lines :)
- Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any other questions! SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 16:53, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
By the way, would you be interested in joining the LGBT WikiProject? Take a look around, and if you are interested, sign up! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 16:55, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you!
