Speedy deletion nomination of Tom Osler
[edit]Hello Skymath1,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Tom Osler for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

AfD
[edit]Hi Skymath1. I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that I wasn't looking to be dismissive by tagging your comment in the AfD with the COI editor template. :-) It would've been correct to explicitly say something of the sort in your message, and it likely would've been slightly better to stand back and let this play out on its own (esp. since it look like there's little question that it'll end as a Keep). Meanwhile, I think we have a fairly solid article going at Thomas J. Osler; thanks for your help and your patience with the COI policies. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 15:31, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Not a problem at all! It's very decent of you to say so. I appreciate your grace and patience, and that of the other editors, as I get up to speed on such things.
You're probably right that I may've been better to just sit back and let it play out. Live and learn!
Thank you again for all the work you do. The page is now far better than how I started it. Very impressive.
peace, Sky Skymath1 (talk) 22:24, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
