Comparison of feed aggregators
[edit]When editing Comparison of feed aggregators, on the very top is an important announcement: IMPORTANT NOTE – READ BEFORE ADDING AN ENTRY This is a list of NOTABLE feed aggregators, as judged by Wikipedia's notability policies, obtained by searching Wikipedia for WP:N. Please don't add external links or wikilinks to nonexistent articles – instead, read our notability policies and write the article first, ensuring to demonstrate notability. Entries without articles, redlinks, external links, and links to articles that aren't about the aggregator in question will be pruned periodically. Fill in the background info too, please, to make this article useful.
Despite this notification, you have added an entry without an existing article. So that entry is removed. The Banner talk 13:04, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of RSS Guard
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on RSS Guard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:
Hello. I written article for "RSS Guard" in the same approach as existing articles "Liferea", "QuiteRSS" and many others so that "RSS Guard" becomes "notable". RSS Guard is open-source software used by thousands of users every day. I needed to create the article to include RSS Guard to "Comparison of feed aggregators" page where every application in the list must have its own Wikipedia page. But, what the hell, my "RSS Guard" article was DELETED (so I cannot even tweak it anymore) and my account is blocked so that I cannot even re-write it if I wanted to. It was literally the same layout as the above pages "Liferea" etc. - some basic description of the program and list of the most notable features - easily verifiable information. I am not "undisclosed paid editor". I am the author of free application RSS Guard and I would like to have it in "Comparison of feed...." page as it has some very unique features. Skunkos (talk) 06:36, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Please see other stuff exists. It could be that the other articles are inappropriate, or that unique circumstances apply to them. Your application does not merit an article because others do- not every application does, as Wikipedia does not provide equal time to all possible members of a topic category, it depends on coverage in independent reliable sources. Please review conflict of interest and explain how your future edits will be consistent with that policy, as well as describe other topics you might edit about. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:03, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
OK, I got it now. I will do my best to improve. Anyway, I plan to create unbiased article for "RSS Guard" I would like to just know why exactly RSS Guard does not merit its own Wiki article. If I understand it correctly, self-published sources are not recommended to be used when writing article. Well, that sucks. So you recommend that article "RSS Guard" should be written by someone else? Well, it could be, but I would like to be able to edit and improve it once it exists etc. Please unblock my acc. Also, the reason of blocking, "undisclosed paid editor", is just not correct. In fact, it is pure lie. I am not neither undisclosed nor PAID. I AM THE AUTHOR of the application which is FREE and I am not paidy by anyone else to post it on Wikipedia. This is just nonsense.
Decline reason:
We don't get to write about ourselves, our organizations, or our products on Wikipedia. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 22:45, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
