You have some great work here. I really like how you expanded the mechanism section. I can tell from reading that you have an in depth knowledge of this topic, based on how explain such difficult concepts in your own words. That being said there are a few small things you could do to improve your article. I would go through and check for potential links to related pages. For example, it might be nice to have links for Calcium gated voltage channels and purkinje cells. In addition, your writing was very clear, but sometimes the tone seemed slightly casual for an encyclopedia. A few subtle word/phrase changes might make it sound more technical and a little less colloquial. For example instead of using "never-ending" you could try using "continuous". In addition, I noticed several times that you used phrases like "most likely" or "probably" to describe details about neural backpropagation. You might try using "based on current research" or "was recently discovered that..." to make the article sound more certain, even if the research is new. Hope these ideas help.
