The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

Dharma Keerthiraj moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Dharma Keerthiraj, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:50, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sushama until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Moves to Draft namespace
[edit]I reverted the moves of Janani Bharadwaj and List of Kannada songs recorded by Shreya Ghoshal. Usually articles should only be moved to the draft namespace if they are new, or as the result of discussion (Wikipedia:Deletion policy#Incubation). These were created in 2012 and 2013, and the list was kept at AFD twice - the links to the discussions can be found on its talk page. I also restored the references to Janani Bharadwaj - if they are valid references for something in the article, they can be converted to inline citations (two were redirected to the site's home page, but I found them at archive.org). - Hello, Skancc,
- I came here to say the same thing. Draftification is for newly created articles. The rule of thumb is that they are, at most, 6 months old (or younger). If it is an older article, either work on improving the article yourself, tag it for any problems it contains or, if you think it is unsalvageable or there isn't a good version of it in the page history you can revert to, then use one of our deletion processes (CSD, PROD, AFD). Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:49, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks Skancc (talk) 18:21, 16 February 2023 (UTC)User:Peter James Skancc (talk) 18:13, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- i will try to find cite and save article if i dont get reliable sources will processes (CSD, PROD, AFD) Thank you. @Liz Skancc (talk) 21:07, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- The restored references to Janani Bharadwaj - are not valid reference, its just a mention about the person Skancc (talk) 18:18, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Skancc! Your additions to Hamsalekha have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 12:47, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Mumtaz (film), Navagraha (film), Khadak (2022 film), Bigg Boss Kannada season 11 and Keerthiraj. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 22:08, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
