A tag has been placed on Clarice Orteza, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

This is your only warning; if you create an inappropriate page again, as you did at Clarice Orteza, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. causa sui (talk) 16:10, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Puffin. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed to be less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks, Puffin Let's talk! 15:23, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Technically you are blocked as vandalism-only, but since you weren't a tosser earlier in your history I will agf and say you may have been compromised. Syrthiss (talk) 18:17, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation

[edit]

I have been hacked by User:JohnRunsCanada at school. He had gotten my password and started editing using my account. Right before, he had made an edit to Religion. --Sk8rSoda Cincinnati Bengals 23:01, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think WP:BROTHER might apply here. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:36, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know what this account did was wrong. My current IP is 70.20.116.233, and the school IP is 2xx.xxx.xxx.xxx (I don't know what the school IP is)

Also, another part of this is that User:JohnRunsCanada in school was ENCOURAGING me to vandalize the wiki pages. Well... I'm an autistic child, diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. I tend to do things that I know are wrong... but end up doing them. --Sk8rSoda Cincinnati Bengals 23:55, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I admit that I hadn't followed the rules. I shouldn't be accused of sockpuppetry, however. As the location I am at is a school, I may forget to log out, and other students can use my account to do wrong edits. I would like to get unbanned, and I promise to not do this again. Decline reason:

Sorry, but we absolutely cannot unblock you if you're unable to secure your account from being used by others. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 17:05, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I just requested my password to be changed, via e-mail, and I changed my password. Sk8rSoda Cincinnati Bengals 20:59, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And the people who change your password should be able to unblock your account as well. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:31, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What information must I give to get myself unblocked? The only thing that I put on to identify myself is my e-mail address. --Sk8rSoda Cincinnati Bengals 11:33, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Think about it - this could be the hacker saying "What information must I give to get myself unblocked? The only thing that I put on to identify myself is my e-mail address", and he has had equal access to set the account's email address - so we have no way of knowing who's talking to us. There is no information now that you can give that the hacker can't, so I think you have to abandon this account. One thing that you could do for a future account is outlined at Template:User committed identity, which describes a scheme for securing your account in advance (by adding an encrypted message to your user page, but keeping the plain text message secret - a hacker can then not access the plain text version). You can see I have one at the bottom of my user page. But that needs to be set up in advance, and cannot be added after the hack has occurred (again, because we can't tell if it's you or the hacker doing it) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:53, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
