Seoul Subway

[edit]

Hi, I notice you do good work on Seoul Subway articles. Regarding the Hangul infoboxes with color-coded bars behind the station name - are these saved as templates somewhere, or do you just insert the full code every time you add one? I've been using the standard korean name infobox for subway articles but having these subway specific ones as templates would be very useful. Thanks, Deizio talk 15:30, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One does already. The template is called {{Korean subway}} and you can insert it and change the parameters like so:
{{Korean subway |
 Name                 = Seoul Subway Line 5 |
 Color                = #660099 |
 Font color           = #FFFFFF |
 Image                = Transfer-line5-seoul-subway.jpg |
 Caption              = Transfer Sign |
 Revised Romanization = Seoul Jihacheol Je-ohoseon |
 McCune-Reischaucer   = Sŏul Chihach'ŏl Cheohosŏn |
 Hangul               = 서울 지하철 제5호선 |
 Hanja                = 서울地下鐵第五號線 |
}}

This example produces the template at Seoul Subway Line 5. Just leave out the parameter for image, caption etc. if required. Right now you still have to manually add a category, I'll work on a different version specifically for stations that auto-includes the category. I'll also see about making different ones for each line with the colours built in. Hope this helps! Deizio talk 17:18, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on {{Template:Seoul line 4 station}}. It auto-includes the page in Category:Seoul subway stations, I'm still working on the parameters. I'll do ones for the other lines later. Deizio talk 17:42, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ju Hyun-mi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
