This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Asia-Pacific Fishery Commission, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.apfic.org/modules/wiwimod/index.php?page=About+APFIC&back=WiwiHome. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 12:27, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:FAO APFIC logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:FAO APFIC logo.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

License tagging for Image:Apfic header.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Apfic header.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

HMS Aubrietia
[edit]The correct spelling of this ship's name is Aubrietia. I appreciate it is spelt otherwise on many web sites but equally it is spelt correctly on nearly as many so WP:COMMONNAME does not apply. The principal source used for RN ship names is Colledge, J. J.; Warlow, Ben (2006) [1969]. Ships of the Royal Navy: The Complete Record of all Fighting Ships of the Royal Navy (Rev. ed.). London: Chatham Publishing. ISBN 978-1-86176-281-8., this spells it Aubrietia as does all other RS such as Conways, Rohwer, Lenton, Miramar etc. This is supported by this photo of the official warship week plaque in Horsworth [1]. I will revert your changes of the spelling in existing articles, you may wish to change your draft to the correct spelling or I can do it once it is accepted. Please don't be discouraged from writing further articles, its unusual that web info varies from what is in published RS like this Lyndaship (talk) 09:21, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

Another note
[edit]I took the liberty of slightly copy-editing your new article on the Aubrietia; please review my edits and take note of the changes; they follow the Manual of Style, which is linked above. Also note the template I added midway down - the dubious one. Iseult Δx parlez moi 08:02, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for the edits
[edit]Thank you for the edits. I agree with your edits and confirm your point regarding Freetown and how this is not in the south Atlantic. I have corrected this. Hopefully the page now meets the relevant standards - it has been a bit of a learning curve! (Sjfsmith (talk) 09:58, 30 December 2018 (UTC))

File permission problem with File:FAO APFIC logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:FAO APFIC logo.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:44, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
