Hi, Sorry for not signing the post. As I have said I am fairly new to this.

There is a reference to the site in question here: http://www.aboutus.org/DownSizer.net

Other than that I am still searching for proof as to why this very usefull and informative site should have a place within Wikipedia. If someone can help me with the technical side of this then that would be great. Thanks, Simon Sjcheslop 17:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)sjcheslop[reply]

Welcome!

Hello Sjcheslop, welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our intro page contains a lot of helpful material for new users - please check it out! If you need help, visit Wikipedia:Questions or place {{helpme}} on this page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

I've moved your comment on Downsizer to Talk:Downsizer and replied there. Unfortunately, aboutus.org appears to be a wiki, which isn't generally considered a good source for Wikipedia. (Wikipedia articles aren't even supposed to cite other articles on Wikipedia.) I'll see if I can find any other coverage of the site that could be included in the article. EALacey

Thank you ever so much for your help. I can stop banging my head against the wall now. I have been a member of the Downsizer network for a couple of years now and more recently been invited to moderate the site (i.e. keeping the site clean and correct). Other than that I have no part in the running of the site and really think that Downsizer deserves a page within Wikipedia. You only have to visit the "latest articles" section to see that this website can be helpful to many people persuing this kind of lifestyle. I will add that Downsizer.net has recently been registered as a UK charity. It is a non-profit-making enterprize.

I am rather new to all this and I thank you profusely for responding so quickly to my original post.
