Well.. This is exciting. Would someone get these two underway? Linuxbeak | Desk 02:19, May 28, 2005 (UTC)
- I concur - JRM or Jasamine - figure out who is what color and then move :) →Raul654 17:21, Jun 1, 2005 (UTC)
- I would like to point you gentlement to Wikipedia talk:Chess championship#Second round and beyond where it was decieded that we should play one round at a time. Infact, if you look a few rows up, you'll see the perpetrator of this policy (btw, I like it, i think it's good to wait, there is no rush, and it makes it more exciting). gkhan 19:41, Jun 1, 2005 (UTC)
Maybe now its the time to start? -- Natalinasmpf 22:39, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Can someone contact Jasmine? -- Natalinasmpf 3 July 2005 01:02 (UTC)
- I've done so on her talk page, twice; I haven't seen her on IRC since, or I would have done it through there. I have now e-mailed her; I'll keep you posted with the results if she doesn't do so herself. JRM · Talk 3 July 2005 22:10 (UTC)
I suggest that we call this one in JRMs favour, this is getting ridiculus. Any objections? gkhan 22:35, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
- My opponent seems to have fallen off the face of the earth; we could alternatively have someone who's been wanting to play but couldn't enter for lack of virtual room take her place. I'd hate to "win" a game like this. JRM · Talk 18:27, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
- Going by Chess piece point value, I would suggest that you play ugen64, as although they lost their game, they had 18 points on the board at checkmate, vs Jasmine's 17. Thus, you're playing someone who would be playing you had Jasmine dropped out earlier. Your choice though; it might be too late to find a replacement, as game 10 is nearly over (I give it three moves max after move #72), and game 11 just needs Jonathan Christensen to make a quick snap for checkmate (no more than 7 moves from current play could easilly do it IMO). - "Too late"? First time I heard of a hard time limit on these things. Look, gkhan is supposed to be running this show, more or less. Get me anyone for this game, or no-one, I don't care, as long as I get something to do in the next game.
- PS. The point piece comparison seems a bit contrived to me, but then again we don't exactly have ELO ratings either... JRM · Talk 19:43, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

Since user:Jasabella has not edited for over a month, I think it's high time this game was called. →Raul654 19:52, July 26, 2005 (UTC)
Alright, Game 11 is over now, so we can move onto the next round, or JRM can play somebody else...
I will be travelling (heading off to uni) beginning Thursday the 11th. I should have some internet access the entire time, and I should certainly be able to log on a couple times a day after the 19th, but I may not have entirely regular access until the 29th at the latest. I'm certainly not advocating waiting until then, just giving you notice... Jonathan Christensen 20:48, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
I have been online via computer many times since mid-July (sometimes as Yin-Ling, sometimes as Jasabella). However, I never seem to be on at the same time as JRM (excluding times when I'm on my mobile). It's a pity we never even sorted out who would play which colour. I'm perfectly fine with calling the game in favour of JRM. -- Yin-Ling 15:10, September 4, 2005 (UTC)
