RfA nomination
Hello, and thank you very much for your message on my talk page. I was really surprised to be offered a nomination for next month, but I'm going to have to decline - or, more accurately - postpone it, for reasons that I've explained here. Thank you for your kind offer, but I don't think it'd be worthwhile to nominate myself as early as next month (which is why I've postponed admin coaching for the same period of time). :) Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 22:29, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

RfA thanks
Thank you for participating in my RfA, which finished with a tally of 66/11/5. I learned quite a bit during the process, and I expect to be learning a lot more in the days ahead. I will be taking things slowly (and doing a lot of re-reading), but I hope you will let me know if there is anything I can do to improve in my new capacity. -- Merope Talk 13:36, 6 October 2006 (UTC) |
I imagine that it was an innocent mistake on your part to erase my vote from this RfA. Would you mind putting it back, please? (aeropagitica) 19:45, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
Just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for your support in my RfA. :-) I really appreciate it! Best, Irongargoyle 17:23, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
Thank you for participating in my RfA, which passed with a tally of 91/1/4. I can't express how much it means to me to become an administrator. I'll work even more and harder to become useful for the community. If you need a helping hand, don't hesitate to contact me. NCurse work 15:27, 8 October 2006 (UTC) |
RfA thanks from StuffOfInterest
Thank you for participating in my RfA, which finished with a tally of 52/6/1 (~90%). It was an interesting process which gave me a chance to learn a bit about myself and about the community. My intention now is to slowly ease into using those additional buttons on my page. No use being over eager and mucking up the works. The support of all those who went over my record and/or rallied to my defense after the big oppose vote was instumental to the success of this review. Again, thank you! --StuffOfInterest 11:38, 10 October 2006 (UTC) |

- Well, it's been a week now that I've been an administrator and I'd like to take this moment to once again thank everyone who supported my RfA, and to let you all know that I don't think I've screwed anything up yet so I hope I'm living up to everyone's expectations for me. But if I ever fall short of those expectations, I'd certainly welcome folks telling me about it!

Thank you for contributing to my RFA. Unfortunately it failed (final tally 26/17/3). As a result of the concerns raised in my RFA, I intend to undergo coaching, get involved in the welcoming committee and try to further improve the quality of my contributions to AFD and RFA. All the best. Cynical 14:58, 19 October 2006 (UTC) |

Re: PROBLEM with "Catagorized" Toolset
Thanks for your Toolset --which I only just decided to install after 2 months of making bookmarks etc.!
The only thing I had to do was add a ":" in front of Category so that
- ''[[Category:Wikipedia tools]] --> [[:Category:Wikipedia tools]]
This keeps MY user page from becoming another (of far too many) pages listed as being in the category!
Don't know how neophyte users will know to do that unless you:
- Set the default to this (but then how will YOUR page show up there? There must be a way.)
- You could inform the users to add it after they paste the toolset? --RCEberwein | Talk 14:28, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
My RFA!
Siva1979, thank you so much for your support for my RfA. I passed with a vote tally of 61/0/1. I am honored that the consensus was to allow me the added privilege of the admin mop. I appreciate your support and kind words on my RFA! --plange 23:03, 22 October 2006 (UTC) |

Thank you
Thanks for voting and commenting for me in my RfA last month. I'll try again as previously planned in the late of spring, and hopefully I'll win it. I'm still on wikibreak now, but have found a few hours finally, and can respond to people from my RfA. In a few months between the period I graduate from high school and begin going to a university, I'll have time to attend to Wikipedia as much as I like to. Thus, I'll be visiting xfD everyday. Do you have any tips or suggestions for me? I sure learned my lesson on a fair use image misplacement!! Thanks again, X [Mac Davis] (SUPERDESK|Help me improve) 07:39, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Rocky
You left a message for me yesterday Silva, I want you to change this current rocky marciano version into best possible form... http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Rocky_Marciano&diff=80069875&oldid=79941681 to this, the unsourced material was removed and information on sugar ray robinson and his amateur record was included in comparison to others, some unorthodox individuals claim that is misinformation, when one sentence is added? Clearly there are people who hold prejudice against others, see what can be done about this, I did everything to the sources, as you can see http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Sugar_Ray_Robinson he was undefeated as amateur. Again, some administrators need to go, some even release names of people they do not like, may be you can assist? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.107.2.200 (talk • contribs) 23:48, 24 October 2006 (UTC).
A belated note - Gary Kirk's RfA

However, I do appreciate your comments, am still in support of the Wikipedia project, and will continue to contribute without interruption. Thanks again! --Elonka 18:41, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
