A Wikipedia article, especially a biography about a living person, must be based on reliable, independent, secondary sources that are published – an unpublished interview with the person can't be used at all, I'm afraid. Please see the information in the grey box above, and follow the links to see what kind of sourcing is required.

The writing style is not quite neutral. For instance, don't use phrasing like "extreme versatility" unless clearly attributed to a secondary and independent source.

Note that Wikipedia's manual of style says that people are not referred to by their first name only ("Sandra"); after the first mention of her full name, please use her last name to refer to her.

The above notice was posted because the draft Draft:Sandra Thomas says that the source of the information is an interview with Thomas, which implies that you have interviewed her – perhaps even been asked to write an article on her behalf. --bonadea contributions talk 17:09, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Bonadea,

Thank you for the feedback. I live in a village in the Eastern Cape and Sandra is one of two women artists that I have come across since moving here. Her work is primarily concerned with the natural spaces in this area, including the Commonage around Bathurst, which is respected by the people of Bathurst. I am taken by her concerns for the environment and would like to share that with other people. I had no reference for the material so thought that 'interview' was the best explanation. However, the copy that I have produced has been sourced from her social media pages, friends of hers and general conversations that I have had with her. I have not formally interviewed her, nor have I been asked to write an article on her behalf.

My intention is to document the work by woman artists (in South Africa), who I feel are under represented.
