Talk page

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:User_pages#Terminology_and_page_locations, the phrase "Its normal use is for messages from, and discussion with, other editors." The content you have here is excessive, grossly excessive, and it hinders communication. I urge you to keep this kind of material, whatever it is, in a sandbox or a sub-page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 21:11, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

You might want to take a look at WP:ES, thanks! Daundelin 23:25, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, part 2.

[edit]

Please start using descriptive edit summaries in your edits. Thank you. Daundelin 19:12, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Always been like this

[edit]

Your edit here has a passive aggressive summary which does not assume good faith. You might also want to read WP:EDITCONSENSUS. Just because things have always been someway doesn't mean that they're correct. Pay attention to where it says "All edits should be explained (unless the reason for them is obvious)—either by clear edit summaries, or by discussion on the associated talk page. Substantive, informative explanations indicate what issues need to be addressed in subsequent efforts to reach consensus. Explanations are especially important when reverting another editor's good-faith work". You need a better explanation than "its always been this way". When the page is read with screen reader technology, merged cells don't read well and result in excess spacing. There's literally no valid reason for splitting out Jynx Monsoon vs. Trinity the Tuck into separate cells. It changes virtually nothing visibly but it better for disabled readers who are partially sighted. See MOS:ACCESS and MOS:TABLES.

Also consider this an informal warning re: passive aggressive edit summaries. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 13:28, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

tense in drag race summaries

[edit]

Hello! Thanks for contributing to the episode summaries on various Drag Race pages. Please be conscious that summaries are to be written in the historical present (see WP:FICTENSE). For example, write “for this week’s challenge the queens must do a photo shoot” or simply “the queens do a photo shoot”, but never “the queens will do a photo shoot” or “the queens did a photo shoot.” Griffindaly (talk) 02:50, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

this issue continues to persist in your edits across the various Drag Race franchise articles. i would please urge you to review the WP:FICTENSE guidelines in the manual of style so that we can avoid having improperly written content in the articles. thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited La Más Draga (season 3), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maya. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of Big Brother (British TV series) housemates

[edit]

Hello @Sistersugarcookie:, I noticed you're a frequent editor of Big Brother UK articles and was wondering if you could help, I have updated List of Big Brother (British TV series) housemates with the new housemates and updated statistics (some hadn't been updated since 2012! Can you believe it), but cannot edit it as it has been locked due to bad behaved users. I left an updated copy in your sandbox talk here [1] (I would have left it in your sandbox but didn’t want to remove your hard work Drag Race edits) if you wouldn't mind copy and pasting it to the page. Many thanks2A00:23EE:1200:4A3:C963:2F0B:52E:8C41 (talk) 04:31, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

This is a one-month block, not indefinite. The block is necessary because you have been logging out to edit disruptively and evade scrutiny, which is explicitly against policy. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:32, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ummmm I honestly have no idea why I am being blocked? I am only editing my own personal page and Drag Race pages. I am not logging out of my account at all to edit disruptively. I legit have no idea what this is about at all and have no idea why my personal page is being blocked, when I have received no warning or anything. Sistersugarcookie (talk) 20:57, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

So I think this may be a mistake here? I do not know why my page has been blocked. I have never received any warning or anything by what I am editing. I have only been editing my personal page and Drag Race pages, as you can see by what I have been editing. I have no idea where this even came from. I have not been logging out of my account at all to disruptively edit any page. So I really honestly have no idea what this is even about.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Yamla (talk) I am sorry but I am not that account at all whatsoever. This is legit my only account that I use to edit on. This is completely unacceptable that my page is being blocked and being told that I'm this other account when I am legit not doing anything. Sistersugarcookie (talk) 21:16, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is beyond dispute that you've been logging out and editing as an IP. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:24, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? I literally am telling you that I have not been logging out of my account and editing as an IP. So firstly I'm being blocked for editing as an IP, now I'm being told I'm a sockpuppet. None of this is true at all. This is completely wrong and unacceptable. If you are going to be blocking people and accusing them of suckpuppetry, you better make sure all the information is actually true, because none of this is true at all. Why would I sit here and lie about this? I am legit confused about everything that is happening right now. Sistersugarcookie (talk) 21:30, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The more I look at this, the more I realise this isn't your first account or first block. I'll shortly be inef'ing and removing talk page access. Policy prevents me from posting your IP address here but it's so obvious that any editor who looked at both sets of edits would quickly conclude that they were made by the same person. You are also Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Starbucks6789. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:36, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
