[edit]Hi, I can't comment on whether or not the criterion for inclusion are met by Mr Self, however in its current state the draft you are proposing is not suitable for Wikipedia: it is more an obituary than the kind of tone you would expect for an encyclopedia. Please keep in mind that while I am sympathetic to your move, we try very hard to enforce the notability criterion, especially for living or recently deceased persons.
