Speedy deletion of Matt ruske
[edit]A tag has been placed on Matt ruske, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Speedy deletion of Matt ruske
[edit]A tag has been placed on Matt ruske requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

{{hangon}} I'm not done yet, just wait
- Hi, when you use {{hangon}} you need to place it on the article that's threatened with deletion, not your talk page here. Using {{hangon}} here made it look like someone was trying to speedy delete your talk page (and that you were requesting that it not be deleted). —David Eppstein 05:59, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
RE:Matt ruske
[edit]Who exactly are you trying to write about? First and foremost the title of the page should be capitalized like this: Matt Ruske. Secondly the article lacks any notability. Thirdly I understand that you are new, but the way that you created the article (By copying another article and creating the page in the main space of Wikipedia) is against the manual of style here. Whenever you create an article you should always say how this person is notable. Also try and be nice here, comments like the one you left on the talk page are considered rude. We aren't trying to be rude to you, we are just trying to make sure that articles that aren't notable enough to be in an encyclopedia are deleted. Remember whatever you write is viewable to millions and millions of people. I am more than willing to help you if you need it.
Gonzo fan2007 talk ♦ contribs 05:56, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Also the {{hangon}} should be placed on the page itself, for future reference.
