Your deletion spree

[edit]

Please stop your campaign to delete articles which clearly fit our notability and inclusion guidelines. Continued editing in the form that you have done so far will be viewed as intentional disruption and vandalism. This could lead to blocking.—WAvegetarian(talk) 06:23, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have only nominated only two articles for deletion, one of which doesn't even have a single vote yet. The Hu Jintao deletion was only a test to see how the deletion process works. The Kwai Chi deletion is my first postive contribution to this site, and I haven't even been a member for 1 day yet. So how about some respect? .—Siii112 6:30 AM UTC

Your "test" was highly disruptive. It is rare for well intentioned editors to start off with page deletion. I have not given you any official warning. I used harsh language because you were being disruptive and following an editing pattern similar to that of many trolls. I'm sorry for not assuming good faith, as you seem to have good intentions. Please read my welcome note below. I hope that future interactions will not be so strained.—WAvegetarian(talk) 10:41, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia!

[edit]

Hello Siii112, welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else how to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. Just click on this link and type {{helpme}} followed by your question. An experienced editor will be along shortly to answer your question 24/7. There are also the help pages for self-help and the village pump and IRC Channels where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance. You should also feel free to ask me on my Talk page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes(~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Please do not add this signature to encyclopedia articles you may edit, however, even if you have created them. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person. Your contribution is credited on articles' history pages. Again, welcome!

Speedy deletion of Thanushan Ananthakumar

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Thanushan Ananthakumar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

non-notable person

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 218.111.1.182 17:23, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Tropical cyclone were disruptive and have been reverted. Please do not add nonsense to WP. Thanks. xCentaur |  talk  17:25, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1 month block

[edit]

Per the following diff, either this is a sockpuppet of an IP address that has been blocked for 1 month or the user has engaged in malicious impersonation.[1] DurovaCharge 18:04, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
