Dear sigvid,Name 145 people named Tobias with more than 86 followers. Thank you. Ghosteez (talk) 13:16, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear sigvid,I am very dissapointed of the comments you have made to "Ghosteez" regarding his addition of the popular singer tobias "gvxy" stricko. I am one of his biggest fans and his work inspires me to keep working on myself.aka shut the f up Adiano416 (talk) 13:27, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ghosteez and Adiano416: please read WP:Notability and Wikipedia:Civility. Sigvid (talk) 17:02, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I closed the aforementioned CFD that you opened (at long last!) in favor of your proposed target names. The categories are in the process of being moved by bot to Category:Jōdo Shinshū Buddhist priests and Category:Jōdo-shū Buddhist priests. Once the categories have been successfully moved, I request that you purge the non-priest members from the new categories, since this seems to be an area in which you have expertise. Thanks! bibliomaniac15 04:54, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I've went through them all and it would appear as though they are actually all ordained priests, albeit in many of these cases the only way I "verified" this was by checking the Japanese Wikipedia. I also realized there are more categories that may need renaming. Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2021_December_11#Category:Japanese_Buddhist_monks is a new discussion I started earlier today. There are probably way more categories that may be renamed in order to reflect the fact that not all Buddhist clergy are monks, but this is a start. ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:31, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Inactive peer review volunteer

[edit]

Hi Sigvid, you're receiving this message because you were previously listed at the list of volunteers for Wikipedia's peer review process, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over 1 year.

Because of your inactivity, you have been removed from the volunteers list, so that the list is kept up to date and editors who do need help can better find active editors. If you become active again and would like to add yourself to the volunteers list again, you can do so at any time by visiting the volunteers list.

Thank you for volunteering to be on the list previously, and all the best on your WikiVoyages! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:00, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
