- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}
Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:
I literally joined Wikipedia yesterday and removed few Shia Rafidi wrong info about Hazrat Abu Bakr (AS). Next day, I open Wikipedia and I am blocked of being a sockpuppet of the user SheryOfficial? There is some investigation on me??? The 'evidence' on the investigation is so weak, I made six edits on this account, and none of my edits are similar to SheryOfficial and or any of his sockpuppets. I don't think they ever edited Fadak, History of the Quran and Abu Bakr. My name "SiddiqZindabad" literally suggests that I came on Wikipedia just for editing on Abu Bakr al-Siddiq. I don't even understand WHAT evidence was against me in this investigation? Also, I didn't knew this sockpuppetry policy. I just read it and want to tell that SiddiqZindabad and SiddiqIsMyHeart are both my accounts. I didn't create them for any illegitimate reasons. In fact I didn't even edit on SiddiqIsMyHeart. I won't edit on it if Wiki doesn't want it. As for now, this is completely an unfair wrong block, with no evidence against me. SiddiqZindabad (talk) 08:53, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Checkuser confirmed abuser of multiple accounts. PhilKnight (talk) 09:51, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
