Information icon Hello, I'm JudeccaXIII. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Seth Rollins, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! JudeccaXIII (talk) 04:37, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Seth Rollins. Thank you. JudeccaXIII (talk) 04:41, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Siddeo11, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Dean Ambrose have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  JudeccaXIII (talk) 05:19, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Siddeo11. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm STATicVapor. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Dave Bautista, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Samoa Joe. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. StaticVapor message me! 16:51, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Baron Corbin

[edit]

Thank you for updating wrestling pages. Wikipedia has a policy called WP:V. All added content must have a reliable source, so it can be verified now and in the future. You can be blocked from editing if you do not cite (WP:CITE) sources that can support your additions. Not having them also severely brings down article quality. If you do not understand how, see WP: Referencing for beginners. A list of reliable and unreliable sources can be found at WP:PW/RS. If you do not start doing this, do not be shocked if you face community sanctions. StaticVapor message me! 05:29, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has a policy on verifiability<-----(click blue link). Please WP:CITE/WP: Referencing for beginners<----(click) a URL to a reliable source (notable website) to support what you are adding to articles about living people. If you do not start doing this you will be blocked from editing. You are also required to WP:ENGAGE with other editors. StaticVapor message me! 00:55, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Sorry if I violated any guidelines as it was purely unintentional. I request my unblocking per assurance of not committing any mistake hence forth.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 16:59, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I think I have been blocked for disruptive editing. I did not aim to do it and sincerely appeal for my unblocking on the assurance of not committing any mistake hence forth.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. Yamla (talk) 13:51, 25 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What mistakes did you make, and how will you correct them in the future? 331dot (talk) 22:31, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I made the mistake of not citing references. I will make sure this does not happen again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Siddeo11 (talkcontribs)
I've removed the unblock template from your reply. It is not necessary to use that template for every reply. SQLQuery me! 15:32, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I know the WIKI markup method where ref tag are added at the start and end of a URL link. Then adding them in footnotes. I will try my best to cite accurate references — Preceding unsigned comment added by Siddeo11 (talkcontribs)

STOP IT. By continuing to create new unblock requests just to answer questions, you are demonstrating pretty clearly that you don't understand wiki markup and should not be unblocked. You've been warned about this already. Don't open a new unblock request again, not while you have an open request above. --Yamla (talk) 18:57, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You will also want to answer STATicVapor's question above ("when you add content to any article, how often will you cite a reference?") which you have so far not done. Or alternatively, if you are unwilling to answer the question or don't know the answer, please say so. Note this will count against your chances of being unblocked. Hint: you should already thoroughly understand WP:CITE, WP:RS, and WP:V and the answer is found there. --Yamla (talk) 19:00, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I will try to cite accurate references almost everytime. Yes, I have been through the references provided earlier. -- Siddeo11 18:44, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
