Cremation of Care text

[edit]

I took out your addition of Cremation of Care text from the Bohemian Grove article. Text like that should go to Wikisource instead. Also, your text copied from Alex Jones is wrong in a few places, with a word or two missing and some misheard material that Jones didn't get right. There's no instance of "touch their world-blind eyes with carrion" in the theatrical production, for instance; the noisy recording Jones made doesn't pick this phrase up well enough for him to understand that they said "touch their world-blind eyes with fairy unguents" as seen in this archived text from the 1900s. We audio technicians on the crew were always joking with each other by misrepresenting borrowed phrases such as "Foul Care" and "fairy unguents"... I certainly wouldn't forget that bit of the script. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what I call censorship. Sicjedi (talk) 19:04, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
My text was not "copied from Alex Jones," as you falsely accuse. It was painstakingly transcribed from the audio recording of the ceremony. Your charges are not substantiated with ANY EVIDENCE from your "Bohemian jinks" link. Where is the correct text that you refer to? I have direct references. Where are yours? I reviewed your proposed changes and find them to be invalid. Some "text" purportedly from the 1900s is not as relevant as a video of the ceremony in year 2000, obviously. Indeed, that text is monstrously different than what is said in the ceremony in 2000. If you are the audio technician, then provide a better audio that can be verified if you wish to correct the text. However, removing my transcribed text, which is not lengthy compared to the rest of the Bohemian Grove article and is totally relevant and important, is outright censorship on your part. I reject your changes. Sicjedi (talk) 20:06, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
