I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Bexley park delray beach, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Bexley park delray beach. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Biwa

[edit]

Hi, this is regarding your recent edits to the article Biwa.

A quick search through Google reveals that although many enterprises use the name "Biwa" in some form, the most common uses of this term are the Japanese instrument biwa and the Japanese lake of Biwa.

In addition, for terms with multiple meanings, the usual practice on Wikipedia is to start a different article for each, rather than put multiple meanings into the same article.

Also, Wikipedia follows strict notability criteria. Please ensure that your contributions fulfill those criteria.

If you have any questions, concerns, or disagreements, please discuss on Talk:Biwa.

Thank you!

Once again, if you have any concerns about articles on Wikipedia, please raise those concerns in the relevant talk pages. Your recent edit to Biwa (disambiguation) removed the existing content of that page. Please do not engage in such forms of disruptive editing. -- ran (talk) 18:59, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Medical excursions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kimontalk 02:02, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Medical excursions. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Kimontalk 02:14, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Oracle BIWA User Group formerly BIWA SIG, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Oracle biwa sig and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Singularity42 (talk) 17:46, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article BIWA SIG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
