I love you guys. When are we gonna get a beer together?

No response... I am going to kill myself.

Good bye.

User:200.90.143.2 To be honest, I would not mind having a beer or two with you. Name the place and time and let us see if we can get together. I will even pick-up the first round. Have a great day. ShoesssS Talk 22:43, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editing

[edit]

Wikipedia... the page "anyone" can edit?

I am Panamanian and have been to Kuna Yala 100 times, unlike you.

What would you know about Kuna Yala?

Why would you believe every gringo-written article about Kuna Yala in the web?

If a Kuna edits this page will you still revert everything he writes?

There is so much info in this wiki article that cannot be proved but I still know it is true.

Try and prove everything written in it!

There is even a link that doesn't work.

See reply above.ShoesssS Talk 22:44, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coaching

[edit]

Hi,

I'm glad to see you are interested in developing your wiki-knowhow by seeing admin coaching. Without any prior judgement whether you are ready or not to seek others views on adminship, it is always good to see others aiming to improve themselves. If you are looking for occasional hints and tips on your editing, I would be glad to give you some to-the-point feedback and pointers, and a helping hand for a while.

(Of course what you do with them, and how others view your work, will ultimately be down to you!)

If you're interested, you'll want as a first step to set yourself up with an email account, and then let me know. FT2 (Talk | email) 17:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey FT2 (Talk | email) thanks for the offer. I always appreciate input on my editing and would gladly welcome any and all help in this venue. With regards to applying for adminship, I’m torn between two views. The first, is that I feel I could contribute more on the basic clean-up duties and in some circumstances “Dispute Resolution”. However, the Responsibilities associated with the privileges of adminship is also a burden that effects what I enjoy the most about Wikipedia the ability to just edit. So, will see. In the mean time, please feel free to offer any advice. It will be appreciated. Have a great day. .ShoesssS Talk

Wikimedia Pennsylvania

[edit]

Hello there!

I'm writing to inform you that we are now forming the first local Wikimedia Chapter in the United States: Wikimedia Pennsylvania. Our goals are to perform outreach and fundraising activities on behalf of the various Wikimedia projects. If you're interested in being a part of the chapter, or just want to know more, you can:

Thanks and I hope you join up! Cbrown1023 talk 04:27, 9 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

</div>

[edit]

Could you please remove the <div></div> from your signature? It screws up the {{subst:ab}} template when I close deletion discussions. Ten Pound Hammer(((Broken clamshellsOtter chirps))) 18:52, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that...should be working right now. ShoesssS Talk 10:12, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

[edit]

Please correct your raw signature on your preferences page. The signature has an extraneous “</div></div>” at the end, which fouls up the formatting on pages in which your comments are within a DIV. I had to search for this error in one of your recent comments on the AFD page. If you look at the source formatting on this page you will see it. Thanks. ●DanMSTalk 05:38, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that...it should be working now. ShoesssS Talk 10:11, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

suggestion--why dont you simply stubbify? the article is outrageous, to be sure. But he seems to be notable.DGG (talk) 00:27, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey DGG (talk) let me begin by saying, I see your edits on a daily bases and just have to say “Good Job”. Regarding the article on Dr. DiLorenzo, it is self-serving and does not establish “Notoriety” other than in the authors own mind. I did a Google search on Dr. DiLorenzo, and sorry to say, I found not one noteworthy piece out of the grand total of three listed. Two being personal websites and the third Wikipedia. Hopefully this explains the reasoning behind my “Afd” nomination. ShoesssS Talk
yes, afd seems fair. [1] seems to be a real ref, that might be enough to establish notability. The others are MIT alumni publications, I'm going to suggest to the anon author that he withdraw the article and start over, on the grounds that the nonsense will prejudice the article. DGG (talk) 00:59, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for understanding. And the best to Dr. DiLorenzo ShoesssS Talk 01:11, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(just wanted to add--I think there were other refs in the article, but they were done as inline web links--it's easy to miss them. We discourage people from doing it in this quick and dirty way, just because people do miss them quite often. DGG (talk) 01:19, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hey, thanks! for the comment at the AfD. DGG (talk) 10:09, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey DGG (talk) when you are right….”You Are Right”. No Thanks necessary. ShoesssS Talk 01:36, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

[edit]

I, as well as sumnjim have posted new comments onto the xyplorer afd. Just thought you would like to know. Thanks :) --♫Twinkler4♫ (Talk to me!) 15:27, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey --♫Twinkler4♫ (Talk to me!), Thank you for the update! However, to be honest, once I make my comments I usually do not follow up with motoring the page unless I really have strong feelings one way or the other. In this case, I was torn on which way to go, and have found in 99.9% of the cases regarding these situations Wikipedia editors always make the right decision. If not, I will advice the author to resubmit in a month or two. Thanks again. ShoesssS Talk 02:19, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion

[edit]

Hi, glad to be of help :). ck lostswordTC 22:45, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed you issued this warnings long after the vandalism happened. The user had probably left already. Please try not to issue multiple new warnings when the user got warned already for a latter edit. Thanks! -- lucasbfr talk 00:24, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey guy, I acutally reverted the (multipal edits made by this indivdual)than went back and warned. That was the reason for the time delay. Typicaly I would not have bothered but if you read his/her edits, I wanted it on record what was said. Hope this explains why the delay happened ShoesssS Talk 02:16, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging of Enlisy

[edit]

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Enlisy. I do not think that Enlisy fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because This discusses the product fairly factually, it is simpy not blatent spam. I request that you consider not re-tagging Enlisy for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 02:44, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note that you replaced this tag in this edit saying "DO NOT.....DO NOT remove tags" but the tag was removed in this edit by an editor who had not previously touched the article, not by the creator. Any good-faith editor other than the creator can, of course, remove speedy tags if the editor judges them unwarrented. DES (talk) 02:48, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Typically when an editor removes the "Speedy Deletion" tag I will review the article again and either agree with the other editor or place the article in "Afd". Regarding the replacement of the "Speedy Deletion" tag in this instance, I just overlooked that an other editor was involved an assumed it was the original author. And yes I am aware about assumptions! I hang my head in shame. Sorry about that. Have a great dayShoesssS Talk 10:41, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your response. Anyone can make a mistake. DES (talk) 14:51, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ridiculousness on that ski area page

[edit]

To be safe, you might want to revert your last reversion, I, personally think it's vandalism reversion, but some might consider it a content dispute. It would be crazy for you to get caught up in a 3RR accusation yourself. I think it's vandalistic enough that I can safely revert after the IP is blocked for 3RR so you don't have to, without being accussed of edit warring myself; that would be my third revert. --barneca (talk) 15:23, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for the heads-up. I have already notified the Admid for intervention about the situation. It's funny, I just stumbled across the artical while on vandle control and get caught in a edit dispute :-). ShoesssS Talk 15:29, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's how I got invovled too. No worries, I think any rational admin at WP:AN3 would view your edits as vandalism removal, it a white area with a teeny tiny bit of grey. --barneca (talk) 15:32, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your sig

[edit]

You should better change your sig to remove the div parts of your sig as it screws up a closed afd or rfa. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 21:00, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Jaranda, already done. I know I still have some old {Afd} comments out-there with my old signature. Sorry for the inconvenience. Shoessss |  Chat  21:49, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem.  :) It looks like 208.44.155.99 reverted things and then put the "multiple" back, so it's nice to see that someone from each side agrees that it'll do. Always nice when that happens! Beginning 00:29, 21 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Please let me know what you see...bc looking at it myself I dont see any thing specifically...most likely due to the fact that I wrote it.

I also wanted to upload a picture of the building but I do not know how.

Thank you...

Hey 71.172.91.26, first of all, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. The changes I made where only slight grammatical modifications to your contribution to Taftville concerning Mr. O’Neill. I noticed an other editor Aghachi101 has also been making slight improvements to your contribution. This is one of the great things about Wikipedia, it is always improving on the foundations of a piece. Regarding uploading photos, if you just click on this link [2] it will give you step-by-step instructions on how to embed a photo into the article. If you need any more help or have additional questions, “Just Ask”. Once again, welcome aboard. Shoessss |  Chat  21:27, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Murder_of_Channon_Christian_and_Christopher_Newsom

[edit]

Please stop making unconstructive and uncalled for erasure of factual, cited information from this article.

Thank You

Well 71.28.206.73 typically I do not respond to such injudicious statements as this. But since you are new to Wikipedia I will give you the benefit of the doubt. The changes you made to the Murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom can be considered vandalism, especially if you take the time to review the discussion page as noted here [3]. In addition it seems that both Videmus Omnia and Haemo, well established and respected editors here at Wikipedia, are also in agreement that your recent contributions could be construed as vandalism. In the future, please discuss any addition of information on the discussion page before inserting into the article, unless it is just spelling corrections or simple grammatical changes, which will prevent this incident from happen again. Good Luck and Happy editing here at Wikipedia. Shoessss |  Chat  12:27, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
