Fisher Dry Goods
[edit]Hello, Shoesandcanoes--I hope that you're still active on Wikipedia. I was quite interested to see the note you left on the Talk page for "Fisher's Big Wheel". Abraham Fisher (1892-1964) was my grandfather on my mother's side, and Marshall Hess was a close friend of my parents when I was growing up. If you have any more information about the original store, or know where/how I could find out more, I'd love to know. I don't even know where it was in New Castle.
