Disambiguation link notification for October 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Halla University, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gangwon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Tomb of Princess Jeongseon
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tomb of Princess Jeongseon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:CR92C1KG81EJ:https://www.guro.go.kr/common/file/NR_download.do%3Fid%3D02570f1f-4859-474a-8c02-347535547fbb+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=nl&client=firefox-b. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A page you started (JEI Corporation) has been reviewed!
[edit]Thanks for creating JEI Corporation, Shinfull!
Wikipedia editor Graeme Bartlett just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
It is still a bit unclear why JEI Corporation is so important. The building looks fairly big. But do they have 1000's of students and so compare to high schools in size?
To reply, leave a comment on Graeme Bartlett's talk page.

Blue Deer school
[edit]Hi Shinnfull! I'd like to welcome your useful coverage of Korean themes. Wikipedia certainly needs reliable editors with this ability. My own interest, which is only that of an enthusiastic reader of English translations, is in Korean poetry; for a couple of years I was also in Taiwan helping edit a big encyclopedia of Buddhist art, which also included coverage of Korean sculpture and rock paintings. There was so much detail that I have largely forgotten it now.
I wanted to explain the reasons for the changes to your recently created article on the Blue Deer anthology. I notice that your English is quite good so long as you limit yourself to simple sentences, but that makes stilted reading over the course of a long article - and there were occasionally mistakes where your meaning was not at all clear. I certainly agree that the subject needed covering - I wish there was more about the anthology in English-language sources - and I have tried to clean up the article.
What I need to clear up with you is how many poems appeared in the anthology. You quote 39 from one source but also say there are fifteen each by two poets and a further twelve by another, which adds up to 42! I would also like you to check the Korean text of Park Mok-wol's poem "The Blue Deer". There are radically different translations in the Columbia anthology of modern Korean poetry, 2004 and in Modern Korean Poetry, 1994. Which of these two is the more accurate; if it is the latter, then we'd need to substitute. Another point that needs research is what is the meaning behind the symbol of the blue deer. From its appearance in the silk painting I have used to illustrate the article, it would seem to be 'awakening', whether in the religious sense or in terms of the coming of the new year. Is there somewhere you can look that up?
There are two more points I should raise. In your list of how many poems appear in the anthology, you mention individually well-known poems by each poet but do not give a reference to an English translation. In an English-language encyclopedia these are really needed if the article is to be useful to readers. Again, most of your references are to Korean-language sources. While these are allowed under WP:NONENG in the style manual, over-dependence on them is not really helpful if you are to establish that a subject is notable enough to be included in the English Wikipedia; it is also recommended that you provide a translation or precis of your source.
I look forward to helping make the article that you have started as accurate and informative as possible. Sweetpool50 (talk) 15:04, 8 December 2017 (UTC)

Confusion in the previous message- WAM
[edit]Hello again, I believe the earlier message has created some confusion. If you have already submitted the details in the Google form, it has been accepted, you don't need to submit it again. The earlier reminder is for those who haven't yet submitted their Google form or if they any alternate way to provide their address. I apologize for creating the confusion. Thanks-Sailesh Patnaik
Hello, Shinfull. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Korea Primary Volleyball Federation, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about Writers Association of Korea
[edit]Hello, Shinfull,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Writers Association of Korea should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Writers Association of Korea .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,
