Article ownership

Hello!

In a edit summary you wrote "Shift position of image to look aesthetically nice. Kindly do not change please." (diff). Remember that the articles belong to Wikipedia, and not to any of the contributors (see Wikipedia:Ownership of articles). If you believe that another editor's contributions to any article are not constructive then there are proper procedures for dispute resolution.

RE: Singapore Girl infobox

The infobox is ok, and that is a template. So you cannot do anything about it. The other option is to make your own infobox which needs a lot of time. I suggest you just compromise and stick to this infobox even though you think is ugly. And please stop adding weasel words into the article, I'm very disgusted with all those pro-SIA advertisement though I like SIA myself. Unless you are a staff of SIA, then I can't say anything. Could you kindly assume good faith when u phrase your words. I don't use weasel words at all! Come to think of you being a Wikipedian for so long, i expected you to be helpful but it seems like you are not! BTW, those aren't pro-SIA, they are the fact of life. Ok, I'm sorry. Nice to see an SIA staff on board this encyclopedia. I must admit that I love sitting SIA. I can be a bit harsh at times, I'm sorry and I'll take back my words. Blocked

Excuse me, may i know why am i blocked? I have ben contributing fairly to the article to my other's interests at heart. Can some administrator help me out on this? Cos I dun understand what is sockpuppetry means and who is Yuripa? I dun think i deserved to be blocked it is not fair to me. Shimmers77 09:44, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

See Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/YuRiPa (2nd) regarding the background and evidence. Wikipedia's policy on sock puppetry says the following:

"Do not use multiple accounts to create the illusion of greater support for an issue, to mislead others, or to circumvent a block."

Creating a new account to give the impression of being several different users is not allowed. Neither is:

• Reposting copyrighted material which was deleted (twice).
• Creating a puppet account and impersonating a user on Flickr in order to give the impression of having released the copyright to a photograph. (WP:ANI)

This account has been blocked indefinitely (block log). The main account has been blocked for 48 hours from 16:17, 26 December 2006 (UTC) (block log). Future comments should be posted on User talk:YuRiPa.
