Please help me with... I am a brand new contributor. I created my first article for Jason DaSilva at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Jason_DaSilva However, the article is not showing up on Search Engines like google. (It does show up if you search Wikipedia.) Can you tell me how to get Search Engines to recognize it or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for your help. Google moves in mysterious ways its wonders to perform, and there is nothing we can do about it. When I searched just now, the article was there, second item on the second page of results.
I'm sorry that no-one has yet given you a welcome message. Here are some pages that you may find helpful:
One other tip: to link to any page within Wikipedia, you do not need to give the full URL. Just type the page name within double square brackets. So typing [[Jason DaSilva]] gives the link Jason DaSilva. JohnCD (talk) 17:51, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Looking again just now, it's still on the second page of search results, but the "knowledge snippet" at top right of the first page is based on your article and links to it. JohnCD (talk) 21:34, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion pending for File:JasonDaSilvaHeadshot.jpg

[edit]

Hello, Shfeingold. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:JasonDaSilvaHeadshot.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.

  • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:45, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Jason Dasilva

[edit]

Hello, Shfeingold. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Jason Dasilva".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 00:11, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Help please as I am new to this. I received a couple of messages that my article "Jason DaSilva" is a draft in the Articles for Creation space and that it hasn't been edited in 6 months and might be deleted. My article is located at: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Jason_DaSilva This is the final version and not a draft and I thought it was in the right place so I don't understand why it might be deleted. Can someone tell me what I need to do to make it permanent so it won't be deleted? Or could there be an older version that is in the draft location that I don't know about? I'd greatly appreciate some advice! Thanks, Susan

That article was created in January. There also existed a draft, created in December, at Draft:Jason Dasilva. That draft now has been deleted. The deletion of that abandoned draft does not affect the live article. Huon (talk) 22:58, 22 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
