Lot(as) in Islam

[edit]

The article says that Islam teaches that the idea of Jesus being the Son of God is shirk. You are complaining about the article already saying what you want it to say. Between this and the fact that you don't seem to understand that you need to appeal under your original account (User:Obaidullah_ak), I have to ask if you actually bother to read stuff before posting. CONTENT THAT WORRIES ME

[edit]

It says under the heading of common grounds with Christianity that Isa is filled with the Holy Spirit and gives Surah Al Baqrah verse 87 as its source The verse is:

And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed. (2:87) I cant say anything because I am not a scholar or an alim but I don't think that this verse says he was filled with the Holy Spirit find something else from the Quran and Authnentic Hadith to prove youre statement if it is true otherwise please correct it also it says under the heading of theology it uses the Bible to make a distinguishing statement that Jesus is divided into two parts and then says that the body was crucified this while the spirit left this theory has not been given any solid ground and as the New testament is used it sounds unreliable it also uses the term son of God in such a way that makes it sound as if Muslims believe such a thing though they do not and also this interpretation is likely to confuse people about their faith along and I suggest that such theories should be removed and what is in the Quran simply be given. Also the Sufi ibn al- arabi's poem and explanation should be reviewed because it suggests that God was in Hazrat Isa and God is everywhere but i get the feeling that this might be taken in a wrong sense and may lead to some form of shirk as it may lead people to believe naoozobila Isa is god or other evil ideas that i am not stating also it says that an angel is in him which may lead to the comparison of an angel with God so i suggest you remove that content plus i have never heard of such a thing before and i fear that this all may harm one's faith so please do remove this furthermore the poem also seems to add information that one may not understand confusing the reader i think and also two more miracles are mentioned turning water to food etc with the story of the jew and wine which on this page are not confirmed in the Quran and authentic hadith could you confirm them to be from really reliable sources or remove them also the stories of egypt i feel should be given strong evidence and paragraphs like under the heading of Preaching need citation from a reliable source i suggest you take information form the Quran and Hadith while writing this and avoid things not present in them to avoid harming one's faith. Reports that are not hadith should also be supported with strong evidence or else be removed if we cannot affirm that they are true in my opinion also anything that suggests Jesus is the son of God like this text: Al-Masudi reports Jesus as a boy studying the Jewish religion reading from the Psalms and finding "traced in characters of light":

"You are my son and my beloved; I have chosen you for myself"

with Jesus then claiming: "today the word of God is fulfilled in the son of man".[30] Also it says that casting out demons was one of his miracles this is most likely from a christian source so please if it is not in the Quran or hadith remove it. Please carry this out there can be no lies about religon.

Request reason:

The picture and caption suggest that Lot(as) fled the city with his wife however she was an unbeliever and left behind so the page needs to be corrected. Please check this.
